Succulent Style
This new Mediterranean home called for a spectacular new landscape. The project involved a true collaboration with the design-minded clients—Chicago transplants who boldly embraced low-water plantings without compromising style. The design transformed an entry courtyard into a private oasis with lush plantings and a custom Spanish tile fountain. The formerly boring back slope was recast into a plant amphitheatre with a colorful palette of spreading succulents, sandstone boulders cut into the artificial turf, bright ceramic containers, and lighting design.
